August 2026 - updated occasionally

Work

At Manulife, I'm on a strike team launching a brand-new credit card modernization effort. I'm working across the stack, from contractor and vendor management to architecture and rapid releases, with a lot of ownership and very little ceremony.

I'm also helping build a stronger developer experience culture within Manulife Bank. The focus is straightforward: eliminate the friction that slows engineers down. I'm building automation and AI-powered tooling around legacy ACL systems, developer environment setup, access and permissions, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes/change management.

Building

Built Dockcast, a simpler way to check real-time bike dock availability. The existing apps make it surprisingly difficult to answer a basic question: which stations are not full? I wanted something faster and more useful, so I built it.

I also contributed to noma.xyz, a prediction market aggregation and social layer. Shipped 45 PRs across the product, while also helping with community, social, and support.

Outside

Biking around Toronto whenever I can. I recently won an indoor triathlon at my local gym, and I'm keeping up with swimming while getting more serious about running.
